[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seongap) is recruiting 'Youth Autonomous Clubs' planned and operated autonomously by youth.
The eligible applicants are clubs composed of youth residing in Gwangjin-gu or affiliated with institutions located in the district, with at least 5 youths aged 9 to 24 and 1 leader such as a parent participating together.
The activity fields must be based on youth autonomous activities such as social participation including volunteering, humanities and social sciences, media, cooking, etc., and clubs affiliated with schools or academies are excluded.
The support scale is about 8 clubs in total, and selected clubs will receive support such as joint activities among clubs, issuance of activity certificates, and up to 1.5 million KRW per club.
Also, they will be given the opportunity to participate in the 'Gwangjin-gu Onmaeul Youth Festival' held in the second half of this year to showcase their activity achievements.
Clubs wishing to apply must submit the application form, activity plan, and support fund usage plan by email or visit the Gwangjin-gu Education Support Division by the 26th.
The selection results will be announced in May after document screening based on evaluation criteria.
