Rapper Killagram Sent to Prosecution for 'Marijuana Possession and Inhalation'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] Famous rapper Killagramz (29, real name Lee Jun-hee) has been handed over to the prosecution on charges of marijuana possession and inhalation.
According to the prosecution on the 13th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul sent Lee to the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office without detention on the 1st on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
Lee was arrested on the spot by police officers who responded to a resident's report of a "smell of burning mugwort" at his home in Yeongdeungpo-gu on the 1st of last month. Initially denying the charges, Lee reportedly admitted to them after powder-form marijuana and inhalers were found at his residence.
After the arrest became known, Lee apologized through his social media, saying, "I am truly sorry for disappointing those who sincerely loved and supported me, as well as those who did not know me at all," and added, "I will naturally accept the legal punishment."
