Clubhouse Introduces Creator Support Feature
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Audio-based social media Clubhouse has introduced a feature to support creators on its platform. Users can send money directly to creators through the app.
On the 5th (local time), Clubhouse announced on its blog that "all users can support creators through the in-app payment feature," according to major foreign media reports.
By pressing the 'Send Money' button on a creator's profile, users can send a certain amount using a registered credit or debit card. The sender must pay a small fee to the digital payment company Stripe.
Clubhouse explained, "All support funds are fully delivered to the creators, and Clubhouse does not take any separate fees."
