View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] T map Mobility announced on the 2nd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Darae Parktech, a company specializing in parking control equipment manufacturing, for joint technology development and commercialization.
Darae Parktech is a parking specialist company that supplies equipment such as entry and exit barriers, control systems, and payment devices to over 2,000 parking lots nationwide and provides maintenance services. The two companies will share parking-related data generated at parking sites in real time. For example, when a vehicle enters a parking lot, Darae Parktech's parking equipment recognizes the vehicle and links it with the user's T map Parking mobile app. Accordingly, T map Parking users can use the entire parking process, including entry, exit, and payment, in a one-stop manner when using the parking lot.
T map Parking is a service that provides users with information on nearby parking lots and usage fees in advance and guides them to the designated parking lot via T map when a destination is set. Users can check real-time parking status on the app and use the prepayment function. Through this collaboration with Darae Parktech, the number of affiliated parking lots available on T map Mobility is expected to increase significantly.
