LG Hello Launches MLB Exclusive Broadcast Channel 'SPOTV Prime' on HelloTV

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] LG HelloVision announced on the 26th that it will launch 'SPOTV Prime,' the first paid broadcasting channel to live broadcast the 2021 Major League Baseball, on its cable TV service HelloTV. The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction by securing killer content exclusive to HelloTV. The channel will be available on HelloTV channel 116 starting from the opening day of the Major League next month.
The SPOTV Prime channel is available as a monthly subscription paid channel. A package of three channels?SPOTV Prime, ON, and ON2?offering Major League Baseball, the English Premier League (PL), and the NBA will be provided for 13,000 KRW per month. Subscriptions can be made through HelloTV and its customer center.
To commemorate the channel launch, LG HelloVision will offer a discount on the first month’s subscription fee for new subscribers throughout April. Additionally, a lottery will be held to give away abundant MLB-related goods and other prizes.
