Candidate Oh also conveyed his willingness to meet with Candidate Ahn.
On the 22nd, Candidate Ahn visited Nam Seoul Rainbow Apartments located in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, inspected the aging residential facilities, and after talking with the residents, said, "I apologize for not meeting the initial deadline I set to inform the public regarding the unification with Candidate Oh." Earlier in the morning, the working-level negotiation teams from both sides announced the final agreement on unification and requested the two candidates to meet promptly to reaffirm their intention to unify.
When asked, "Will you accept 100% of the results and support the election campaign regardless of the outcome?" Candidate Ahn said, "Is there such a thing as accepting 1% or 10%?" and stated, "Of course, regardless of the outcome, we agreed that we will accept it and work hard together so that the unified opposition candidate will definitely win."

Candidate Oh also expressed his willingness to meet. After holding a meeting with performance-related personnel in Mapo-gu, Seoul, he told reporters, "Nothing has been promised yet," but added, "You will be able to see us together in some form very soon."
