Gwangyang City Announces Open Call for Entrusted Operation Group of Eupseong549 Cultural Space
Applications open until the 15th, 4 groups selected, 10 million KRW support each
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] The Gwangyang City Cultural City Project Group announced on the 5th that it will publicly recruit consignment operation organizations for four Eupsung549 cultural spaces until the 15th.
The Eupsung549 cultural spaces utilize idle spaces within the region to reinterpret the historical and cultural resources of Gwangyang-eup and visualize them artistically. Since 2018, four locations?Story House, Binteo, 549 Gallery, and Gwangyang Photo Studio?have been established and operated.
The city is calling for organizations to operate the cultural spaces with themes such as tour programs, literature, art and exhibitions, and photography, and plans to support each of the four selected organizations with 10 million KRW for operating expenses.
The cultural spaces will be operated regularly by the selected organizations starting next month, conducting cultural and artistic programs more than three times per month on average. These programs are free for any interested citizens to participate in.
