Hampyeong-gun Implements Electric Vehicle Distribution Project
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 2nd that it will implement the 2021 electric vehicle distribution project to expand the private distribution of electric vehicles and reduce fine dust.
To this end, the county announced the support project on the 26th of last month and plans to accept applications from the 3rd until the budget is exhausted, distributing a total of 53 electric vehicles, including 43 electric passenger cars and 10 electric cargo vehicles.
The subsidies are up to 16.4 million KRW for passenger cars (small), 8.2 million KRW for passenger cars (ultra-small), and 24.4 million KRW for cargo vehicles (small).
Eligibility for application requires residents aged 18 or older who have continuously resided in Hampyeong County for more than 3 months as of the announcement date, or corporations/companies located within Hampyeong County.
Applicants wishing to receive subsidies should sign a contract for an electric vehicle at a car dealership and then submit the subsidy application form along with various supporting documents to the respective dealership.
The county will select recipients in the order of vehicle delivery and registration after receiving applications.
