The city completed this project with a total budget of 2.85 billion KRW, including 1.85 billion KRW in national funds, and 1 billion KRW from city funds and private contributions, after being selected for the 'Smart Village Distribution and Expansion Project.'
Accordingly, the project site was equipped with a renewable energy village management system, smart traffic management, autonomous work tractor service, smart health management, and landslide warning/alert system, establishing a smart innovation village.
The renewable energy village management system helps save energy by installing IoT devices in 35 households equipped with solar power.
The smart traffic management system includes smart crosswalks at three locations, where ground-level traffic lights linked with existing traffic signals help prevent pedestrian traffic accidents.
The autonomous work tractor allows for easy and comfortable precision farming work, expected to bring new vitality to rural areas facing labor shortages.
The smart health management system introduces IoT healthcare devices installed in 13 village halls in Jinyeong-eup, including body composition analyzers, blood pressure monitors, and blood glucose meters, enabling family members living far away to regularly check the health status.
The landslide warning and alert system provides guidance information through real-time monitoring of three high-risk landslide areas, allowing for prompt response before slope collapse.
