Invention Promotion Association Gwangju Branch Recruiting Beneficiary Companies for Intellectual Property Narae Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Gwangju branch of the Korea Invention Promotion Association announced that it will recruit beneficiary companies for this year's Gwangju IP (Intellectual Property) Narae Program starting from the 15th.
The IP Narae Program is a project that supports early-stage startups in creating exclusive rights for their owned technologies and provides consulting for IP-based management. Beneficiary companies are recruited twice a year, in February and June.
The application target is small and medium-sized enterprises located in Gwangju Metropolitan City that have been established within 7 years (or within 5 years after a business conversion). Selected beneficiary companies will receive customized consulting support within 100 days.
In particular, companies with no sales in the previous year or social enterprises (including preliminary ones) are offered a benefit of a 10% cash reduction in the company’s contribution fee.
The main support contents include ▲ IP technology strategy (deriving promising technologies, IP dispute prevention strategies, securing strong patent rights, competitor technology analysis, patent portfolio strategy, setting R&D direction, etc.) ▲ IP management strategy (building IP infrastructure/organization, establishing IP assets, IP commercialization strategy, IP brand/design management, linking with other institution support projects, etc.) ▲ customized consulting, and more.
Applications can be made through the Regional Intellectual Property Center website, and related inquiries can be directed to the Gwangju branch of the Korea Invention Promotion Association.
