[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Green Package Solution, an eco-friendly new material packaging company, announced on the 4th that it held the closing ceremony for the '1st Green Supporters.'
At the closing ceremony held the day before, executives of Green Package Solution attended and awarded certificates of completion to all university student supporters. An awards ceremony for outstanding teams was also held, with two teams receiving the grand prize and two teams receiving excellence awards along with certificates and prize money. Green Package Solution publicly recruited university students interested in the environment last October and selected a total of 24 supporters. According to the company, the competition rate was 4 to 1.

The 1st Green Supporters began their activities in earnest from November last year and carried out creative online promotional activities based on weekly missions such as introducing domestic and international environmental issues and eco challenges for three months. Seunghoon Ahn, CEO of Green Package Solution, said, "Many students have become interested in the environment through the supporters," adding, "We will continue the supporter activities to raise awareness of the need for plastic alternative materials."
