SK Group to Implement "100% Rolling Recruitment" from Next Year... Regular Hiring Abolished
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] SK Group will completely abolish regular recruitment of new college graduates starting next year.
An SK Group official stated on the 26th, "In an internal meeting, we decided to abolish regular recruitment of new college graduates and switch to on-demand recruitment," adding, "We have been gradually reducing the proportion of regular recruitment to minimize confusion."
Previously, SK Group had planned internally to gradually shift from regular recruitment, where all affiliates simultaneously hired new college graduates, to on-demand recruitment by each affiliate, aiming for 100% on-demand recruitment starting in 2022.
Until now, SK Group has selected about 8,500 new employees annually through regular recruitment in the first and second halves of the year and on-demand recruitment.
In 2019, 10 affiliates simultaneously conducted regular recruitment of new college graduates, and last year, six affiliates including SK Hynix, SK Innovation, SK Telecom, SK C&C, SK Broadband, and SK Magic conducted regular recruitment processes. However, according to this new on-demand recruitment policy, most affiliates are expected to recruit talents on an on-demand basis rather than conducting regular recruitment together this year.
