[Exclusive] LG Household & Health Care Cosmetics 'Belif' to Raise Prices on All Products by an Average of 10% Starting January Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] LG Household & Health Care's cosmetics brand 'belif' will raise its prices starting January 1 next year. The average increase rate is around 10%.
According to LG Household & Health Care on the 30th, belif will increase the prices of all products, including skincare and body care, starting next month. A belif representative stated, "We have been striving to maintain reasonable prices despite the rising costs of raw materials and sales management expenses, but due to the continuous increase in material and other costs, it is inevitable to raise the prices of all products," adding, "We will continue to work hard to repay customers with good products and even better services."
Accordingly, among consumers, belif's representative products known as the so-called 'bomb cream,' ‘The True Cream - Moisturizing Balm (50ml)’ and ‘The True Cream - Aqua Balm (50ml),’ will see price increases of 9.5%, from 42,000 won to 46,000 won each. The jumbo size will increase by 9%, from 67,000 won to 73,000 won.

Previously, LG Household & Health Care implemented a price increase for belif on March 1 last year. At that time, the prices of ‘The True Cream - Moisturizing Balm (50ml)’ and ‘The True Cream - Aqua Balm (50ml)’ rose by 5%, from 40,000 won to 42,000 won each.
