This department is the only occupational therapy department in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions to have maintained a 100% pass rate in the occupational therapist exam for seven consecutive years from 2014 to 2020.
This year, 57 students took the national exam held on December 5, and all passed. Fourth-year students Lee Seong-woo and Baek So-young scored 229 out of 240 points, earning the nationwide runner-up position.
Professor Jeong Nam-hae said, "In 2020, due to COVID-19, most special lectures were conducted online, and mock exams were also held remotely, but the students worked hard despite the difficult conditions."
This year’s top nationwide score was 230 points, just one point higher than the two Dongseo University students who tied for second place. Professor Jeong stated, "We will strive to produce the nationwide top scorer next year."
The Department of Occupational Therapy offers various online special lecture programs and self-study support programs not only during semesters but also during vacations.
