[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Kim Ansook, Chairperson of the Seocho District Council, announced on the 16th that she received the "2020 Local Council Member Manifesto Promise Award for Best Ordinance" organized by the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters.
The Manifesto Promise Award is given by the Korea Manifesto Practice Headquarters, a non-profit organization, to local council members nationwide after a rigorous evaluation of their pledge fulfillment and good ordinance fields, aimed at strengthening local council capabilities and building residents' trust.
Chairperson Kim Ansook was recognized for her achievements through the "Seocho District Support Ordinance for Out-of-School Youth," which established a foundation for out-of-school youth to grow into healthy members of society without social prejudice and discrimination.
Recently, she also took the lead in proposing the "Ordinance on Disclosure of Seocho District Council's Business Promotion Expenses," establishing grounds for the disclosure of business promotion expenses and enhancing transparency in budget execution through her legislative activities.
