YJM Games Reports Operating Profit of 600 Million KRW in Q3, Turning to Black from Previous Quarter
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] YJM Games announced on the 13th that its consolidated operating profit for the third quarter recorded 600 million KRW, turning to a profit compared to the previous quarter. During the same period, the cumulative sales for the third quarter amounted to 22.7 billion KRW, with an operating loss of 1.5 billion KRW.
A company representative stated, "The vibration motors supplied to domestic and overseas clients are being applied in various applications such as smartphones, electronic cigarettes, wearable devices, and beauty devices, resulting in quarterly sales growth this year," adding, "The increase in sales from the vibration motor division led to the operating profit turnaround in the third quarter."
The vibration motors from YJM Games, supplied to the largest domestic smartphone manufacturer, are expected to achieve additional performance growth next year due to diversification of clients and expansion of applied product lines. YJM Games is currently constructing a second factory at its Vietnam subsidiary and plans to complete the factory in the first quarter of next year.
The mobile MMORPG "Soulworker Academia," which is being prepared for official release by the mobile game division, received favorable reviews from users during the CBT conducted last September. YJM Games plans to start pre-registration for "Soulworker Academia" this year and officially launch it domestically as soon as possible.
