Hosted by Samyuk University International Education Institute and organized by the Hallyu Content Convergence Major (Global Korean Studies Department, Food and Nutrition Department, Art and Design Department), this event featured contests, experiences, and seminars centered on Hallyu. This year's festival was conducted ontact to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and was broadcast live via YouTube and Zoom.
The first part, held in the morning, was the 'Hallyu Conference,' where Hallyu experts from various fields attended as speakers to assess the current state of Hallyu and provide insights on its future direction. The afternoon's second part was the 'Hallyu Festival,' led actively by students. The 'Korean Language Golden Bell' for international students was conducted ontact using Zoom. The 'K-POP Contest' received audition videos in advance and streamed them live with commentary for competition and judging. On the 12th, the on-campus Design Hall will host the ‘K-Design Contest,’ exhibiting Hallyu design works such as album art, goods, and cultural products.
