Jungjingong and Weihai, China Sign MOU for 'Export Activation'
Opening Ceremony of Non-Face-to-Face Product Sales Exhibition in Seoul and China
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 25th that it will hold an opening ceremony for the 'Untact Export Activation Product Sales Exhibition' in Mokdong, Seoul, and Weihai, China through an online platform.
The opening ceremony will be held simultaneously online in Seoul and China. About 10 officials, including Kim Hak-do, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and Woo Geon-seong, Deputy Director of the Weihai Municipal Government's Korean Representative Office, will attend.
At the opening ceremony, the Small and Medium Business Corporation and the Weihai Comprehensive Bonded Zone Management Committee will sign a business agreement and conduct sales of excellent products from export voucher companies through Wanghong live broadcasts.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to support the entry of domestic small and medium-sized ventures into the Chinese market. The Comprehensive Bonded Zone will provide exhibition and sales space free of charge for export support events hosted by the Small and Medium Business Corporation. When the Small and Medium Business Corporation recommends excellent products, preferential treatment will be given in customs clearance, logistics, bonded window use, and taxation.

Chairman Kim Hak-do said, "As external trade activities have contracted due to COVID-19, the need for untact overseas market entry support policies is increasing," adding, "The Small and Medium Business Corporation will take an interest in expanding Korea-China trade through this product sales exhibition and will actively support domestic small and medium ventures' entry into the Chinese market in the future."
