Naver Gamepot Supports 'RohanM' Global Expansion
Southeast Asia Games Dominate Top Popularity Rankings
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-kyu Lee] Naver Business Platform (NBP) announced on the 14th that the mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) "RohanM" has successfully entered the global market with the support of the cloud solution "GamePot."
Playwith's RohanM is a hit game that ranked 2nd in Google Play's top grossing charts. For this global expansion, publishers in each country applied GamePot to launch the game in the global market.
Building on the successful launch in Taiwan last year, RohanM expanded into the Southeast Asian market last month, achieving the number 1 spot in Google Play's game popularity rankings in Singapore and Thailand, ranking 3rd in game popularity in the Philippines, and reaching 8th in total revenue.
The reason RohanM was able to enter overseas markets lies in GamePot, which reduces game development resources and enhances operational convenience. Playwith has been providing RohanM services through GamePot since last year. Through GamePot, all necessary game service functions such as coupons, payments, login, push notifications, and statistics are operated.
