Gwangju Regional Tax Association Donates Over 13 Million Won to Support Vulnerable Local Groups
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Han Sangwon) announced on the 3rd that members of the Gwangju Regional Tax Association (Chairman Jeong Seonggyun) donated 13,310,719 won in donations.
Attending the donation ceremony were Jeong Seonggyun, Chairman of the Gwangju Regional Tax Association, Vice Chairmen Ha Sangja and Yoo Gwongyu, General Director Ko Youngdong, Secretary General Park Jongbae, and Lee Seongdo, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
Chairman Jeong Seonggyun said, “I hope this will help vulnerable groups and social welfare facilities in Gwangju Metropolitan City, which are experiencing many difficulties due to COVID-19, economic recession, and the heavy rains concentrated in July and August. The Gwangju Regional Tax Association will continue to carry out social contribution activities and strive to spread a culture of sharing.”
