Gangnam-gu Yeoksam-dong Residents COVID-19 Family Infection... 4 Cases Today
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 2nd, 4 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Gangnam-gu.
Including the 3 additional cases reported the previous afternoon, the total number of confirmed cases has risen to 199.
Among the 3 confirmed cases (from Suseo, Yeoksam, and Gaepo-dong) transferred to the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center after being diagnosed positive at other testing institutions the day before, the resident of Suseo-dong was a worker at a hospital in another region where a recent cluster infection occurred. This person was tested at the National Medical Center and confirmed positive.
Another resident of Yeoksam-dong who tested positive at the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center on the same day was a family member of a previously confirmed Gangnam-gu resident. Three residents from Gaepo, Apgujeong, and Segok-dong were each confirmed positive at other regional testing institutions and transferred to the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center.
Gangnam-gu conducted disinfection around the residences and movement paths of the confirmed cases and is currently conducting a detailed epidemiological investigation.
