Sahmyook University to Switch All Classes to Online Before Midterm Exams in Second Semester
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Samyook University announced on the 23rd that it will switch all classes to online-only until October 19, the week before the midterm exams of the second semester.
This decision comes as the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) rapidly spreads mainly in the metropolitan area, and the government has raised social distancing measures to Level 2.
Samyook University initially planned to operate second semester classes in a blended on- and offline format, but changed the policy due to the spread of COVID-19. However, laboratory, practical, and performance courses will be conducted face-to-face starting from the third week of the semester, September 15.
