Professor Lee Wan-hee of Samyook University Elected as the 18th President of the Korean Physical Therapy University Education Council
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Professor Wanhee Lee, Dean of the College of Health and Welfare and Professor of Physical Therapy at Samyook University, has been elected as the 18th president of the Korean Physical Therapy University Education Council. During his term, he proposed key projects including ▲development of a standardized curriculum that meets international standards for physical therapy ▲growth and internationalization of the national physical therapist licensing examination ▲establishment of a council trusted by the government and related organizations. Professor Lee has served as the vice president of education for the council for the past four years. Founded in 1986, the council is an organization with over 450 registered physical therapy professors nationwide and has carried out various educational projects to improve the quality of university physical therapy education. The term of office is three years.
