On the 16th, Bulkoh Co., Ltd., the developer of ‘Oceanstay Yangyang,’ announced that it has signed an MOU with Emerson AMC, a specialized management company, for the entrusted operation of ‘Oceanstay Yangyang.’
Through this business agreement with Emerson AMC, Bulkoh Co., Ltd. plans to supply rooms that meet the leisure demand in the Yangyang area while enhancing customer satisfaction through differentiated concierge services.
Emerson AMC possesses Korea’s top hotel management experts and specializes in the development and entrusted operation of resorts, residential lodging facilities, and school dormitories. The company continues steady growth and development by bringing together top professionals to provide consulting in the tourism business sector, pioneering overseas real estate markets, marketing development and agency services, as well as tourism-related vocational training and education.
A sales official stated, “With this MOU, the world-class hotel operation know-how held by Emerson AMC can now be enjoyed at ‘Oceanstay Yangyang.’ Since the best experts have gathered, we expect to maximize synergy in income-generating real estate development by providing stable entrusted management to landlords and convenient concierge services to residents.”
‘Oceanstay Yangyang’ is a residential lodging facility under construction in Hyeonnam-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, entrusted to Korea Trust. It consists of 462 units ranging from 21㎡ to 49㎡ in exclusive area, spanning from 4 basement floors to 20 above-ground floors, and is currently available for sale. Located adjacent to Jukdo Beach, a surfing mecca, it is within walking distance and boasts an unobstructed ocean view right in front of Dongsan Port Beach, expected to become a landmark of Yangyang.
It also benefits from various transportation improvements and development issues. First, with the opening of the Seoul-Yangyang Expressway in 2017, the tourism and transportation map of Gangwon-do has been reorganized centering on Yangyang. Additionally, the East-West high-speed railway connecting Chuncheon and Sokcho is scheduled to open in 2026.
Moreover, various developments are planned, including the ‘Yangyang LF Square Mall,’ a complex marine tourism complex featuring a hotel, a comprehensive shopping mall, an open-air spa, and indoor/outdoor sports facilities, as well as experiential tourism products utilizing the pristine natural resource Namdaecheon River, such as the ‘Namdaecheon Circular Train River Train,’ which is expected to attract additional demand.
