Sahmyook University Music Department Students Participate in 'Political Leaders Parliamentary Training' Program

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Ten vocal major students from the Department of Music at Samyook University participated in the 'Future Political Leaders Parliamentary Training Course' held at the National Assembly Goseong Training Center in Goseong-gun, Gangwon Province. They were the only students majoring in the arts, not political science. This training course is conducted for university students to learn about the functions and roles of the National Assembly and parliamentary democracy. During the discussion, the Samyook University students emphasized that "investment in culture and the arts must be made to realize local decentralization" and "municipal art troupes and opera companies in each region should be actively nurtured."
