Superintendent Wang Myeong-seok said, “By having students visit the figures and locations of the Jangheung Donghak Peasant Revolution and create and install signboards, it has become an opportunity for them to take an interest in Jangheung’s history and enhance pride in their hometown, as well as to learn about the Donghak sites in Jangheung.” He added, “We will continue to support history education about our hometown without hesitation.”
