Jeonbuk Jeongeup Police Station announced on the 18th that they have apprehended and are investigating A (32) on charges of stabbing and killing his ex-girlfriend's father in the chest and neck with a weapon at a house in Jeongeup City.
At around 9 p.m. that day, A visited the home of his ex-girlfriend B (24) in Sannae-myeon, Jeongeup City, and wielded a weapon against three people, including her parents.
B’s father was seriously injured by the weapon A wielded and was transported to a nearby hospital but ultimately passed away.
B and her mother were also injured in the head and shoulders and are currently receiving treatment at the hospital, but their lives are not in danger.
