Dongseo University announced on the 28th that the ‘LINC+ Project Groups’ of six universities in the Busan area signed a ‘business agreement for real-time online entrepreneurship education’ on the 21st as a measure to respond to the changed educational environment due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Six universities including Dongseo University, Dongmyung University, Dong-A University, Dong-Eui University, Pukyong National University, and Korea Maritime and Ocean University participate to operate the Busan area LINC+ Project Group joint program.
Students from participating universities can freely choose from a wide range of educational programs conducted simultaneously with other universities without the restrictions of traditional offline classes or the need to travel between campuses.
The program started on the 25th and will run until September 30th, with up to 30 students per school participating.
Students take courses divided into three stages: creative convergence education specialization, activation of technology startups, and advancement of youth entrepreneurship. At each stage, they can participate in expert-led mentoring, special lectures by entrepreneurship experts, and pre-market events for startup prototypes.
