Apartment Move-ins Nationwide Down 8% from May to July... About 13,000 Households Move into Apartments in Seoul

However, in Seoul, about 13,000 households, a 55% increase from the previous year, are expected to move in.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 25th that the number of apartments scheduled for move-in in Seoul from May to July this year was counted at 13,267 units. Nationwide, the number of apartments scheduled for move-in is 87,175 units, which is 7.8% less than the five-year average of 95,000 units.
In Seoul, next month, 3,371 units are scheduled for move-in, including 'ePyeonhansesang Castle 2nd Phase' (2,569 units) near Nokbeon Station in Eunpyeong-gu, Eungam-dong, and 'Central I-Park' (802 units) in Dangsan-dong 5-ga, Yeongdeungpo-gu.
In June, a total of 4,465 units will welcome residents for the first time, including 'ePyeonhansesang Songpa Park Central' (1,199 units) in Geoyeo-dong, Songpa-gu, 'DMC Lotte Castle The First' (1,192 units) in Susaek-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, and 'Godeok Gangil District 6 Complex' long-term lease and public rental housing (1,244 units) in Gangil-dong, Gangdong-gu.
In July, which is expected to have the largest number of apartment move-ins in Seoul over the three months, a total of 5,431 units are scheduled for move-in, including 'Sagajeong Central I-Park' (1,505 units) in Myeonmok-dong, Jungnang-gu, 'Gaebong Station Centreville Reus' (1,042 units) in Gaebong-dong, Guro-gu, and 'Godeok Gangil 7 Complex' long-term lease and public rental housing (1,025 units) in Gangil-dong, Gangdong-gu.
Outside Seoul in the metropolitan area, 4,173 units, including 'Central Prugio' (2,003 units) in Daeya-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi Province, are scheduled for move-in next month. In June, a total of 8,600 units will welcome residents, including 'ePyeonhansesang Okjeong Metropole' (2,038 units) in Yangju-si, Gyeonggi Province, 'Pyeongnae Hopyeong Station Daemyung Lucein River Park' (1,008 units) in Namyangju-si, and 'Hoban Verdiem Edu City' (1,530 units) in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon.
In the metropolitan area excluding Seoul, July also has the highest number of scheduled move-ins during May to July, with a total of 22,518 units. Large-scale apartment complexes such as 'Sanseong Station Forestia' (4,089 units) in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, 'The Sharp Songdo Marina Bay' (3,100 units) in Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and 'Paju Unjeong A26 Block I-Park' (3,042 units) in Paju-si, Gyeonggi Province are concentrated.

Regarding the size of housing supplied in Seoul, 5,621 units are 60㎡ or less (exclusive area), 7,115 units are between 60 and 85㎡, and 531 units exceed 85㎡, with small and medium-sized units under 85㎡ accounting for 96.0% of the total 9,852 units. Nationwide, small and medium-sized units account for 93.4% (81,385 units) of the 87,175 units.
