Gwangjin-gu Operates Two Safe Accommodations for Families of Self-Quarantined Individuals Including Dong Seoul Tourist Hotel
Dongseoul Tourist Hotel and H Avenue Hotel Konkuk Branch Designated as Safe Accommodations
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is operating a ‘Safe Accommodation’ program in collaboration with local hotels to ensure that families of COVID-19 self-quarantined individuals can stay without worrying about COVID-19 infection.
The ‘Safe Accommodation’ program provides lodging for families of self-quarantined individuals, allowing the quarantined person to stay alone at home by separating living spaces, thereby preventing secondary infections that may occur from living in the same space.
Currently available safe accommodations include two locations within the district: Dongseoul Tourist Hotel and H Avenue Hotel Konkuk University Branch. Under the agreement, accommodations are offered at up to a 47% discount based on the regular price.
Eligible applicants are residents of Gwangjin-gu who are family members of Seoul city residents not admitted to quarantine facilities and who wish to use separate facilities. Applications can be made by phone to the Urban Safety Division of Gwangjin-gu Office.
