Extreme Choice 'Baksa Bang' Participant Found Dead in Han River (Update)

The body of a man who had jumped into the Han River in despair after joining the Telegram 'Doctor's Room,' which produced and distributed sexual exploitation materials involving minors, was found.
The Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul announced that the man's body was discovered at 9:57 a.m. on the north end of Cheongdam Bridge on the 10th. The police have completed identification.
The man had made an extreme choice at 2:47 a.m. on the 27th of last month at Yeongdong Bridge. A note found at the scene reportedly contained an apology, saying, "I deposited money into the Doctor's Room, but I did not expect things to escalate like this. I am sorry to the victims, their families, and relatives."
A police official stated, "We plan to conduct an investigation related to the motive for the suicide."
