Public Procurement Service Announces 53 Construction Bids Including Renovation of Old Sewage Pipelines in Gimhae

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Public Procurement Service announced on the 29th that from the 30th, it will conduct bids for 53 construction projects worth approximately 135.8 billion KRW over five days, including the demand from Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, for the "Gimhae City Old Sewage Pipeline Maintenance Project (Phase 2)."
The bids will be executed as region-restricted bids or region-mandatory joint contracts for 52 projects (98% of the total), including the demand from Suwon Urban Corporation for the "Suwon City Yeonhwajang Remodeling Construction."
Through this, the Public Procurement Service expects that local companies will win contracts worth 91.4 billion KRW (67% of the total) based on construction payments. Among these, region-restricted bids, where only local companies participate, are expected to account for 41 projects worth approximately 49.5 billion KRW.
By region, Gyeongnam leads with 43.5 billion KRW, followed by Gyeonggi with 33.8 billion KRW, and Jeonbuk with 28.4 billion KRW. Additionally, a total of 30.1 billion KRW will be ordered in other regions.

The Public Procurement Service will conduct qualification evaluations for 46 projects, including the Gimhae City Old Sewage Pipeline Phase 2 Maintenance Project (25.2 billion KRW) totaling 135.3 billion KRW, and the remaining projects will be executed through negotiated contracts worth 0.5 billion KRW.
