Park Jaebeom responded, "As a person to a person, I accept your apology. I believe I was given incorrect information. I hope you and your people are doing well."

Earlier, the two clashed at the 'UFC 248' event held on the 8th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. On that day, Park Jaebeom was watching the fight as the CEO of AOMG, the agency representing MMA fighter Jung Chan-sung, and Ortega was also present at the venue. Ortega, holding a grudge over Jung Chan-sung calling him a "coward" and "runner" in a previous interview, approached Park Jaebeom, who was acting as an interpreter at the time, and slapped him on the cheek.
