Changwon National University Industry Cooperation Foundation and Hankyung TEC Sign MOU for Technology Transfer in New Materials Field
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Changwon National University (President Lee Ho-young) Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation announced on the 10th that it has signed a 'Technology Transfer Contract and Industry-Academic Cooperation MOU' with Hankyung TEC (CEO Kang Hyun-byeong).
Founded in 2006, Hankyung TEC boasts top technology in the development of new materials such as automotive three-way catalysts, special paper additives, and medical device materials (structural ceramics) based on advanced ceramic industrial materials in the zirconia and rare earth series. It is regarded as a promising company continuously developing materials in collaboration with institutions such as the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology.
Under this MOU, a technology transfer contract was also signed for the 'Ceramic Powder Manufacturing and Application Technology' developed by Professor Jeong Yeon-gil of Changwon National University (Department of New Materials Engineering).

Lee Jae-hyun, head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Changwon National University, said, "Based on the technology transfer contract, we will promote mutual growth with Hankyung TEC, an excellent company in the Gyeongnam region, through joint R&D utilizing our university's proprietary technology and continuous exchange of research outcomes."
