PlayD- TikTok, Official Reseller Agreement Signed
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT Group's online advertising agency PlayD has signed an official reseller contract with the global short video application 'TikTok.' Through this contract, PlayD will be able to operate advertisements in countries where TikTok ads are open, including Korea, Japan, and Singapore.
On the 4th, Heo Wook-heon, CEO of PlayD, stated, "With this partnership, marketing opportunities have expanded for domestic and international clients targeting Generation Z and Millennials or those with overseas marketing needs," adding, "Based on PlayD's integrated media operation capabilities grounded in branding performance, we will provide differentiated advertising services."
According to mobile app market analysis firm Sensor Tower, TikTok's downloads exceeded 700 million in 2019, with a cumulative total of 1.5 billion, ranking it second globally. TikTok currently operates in over 150 countries and regions worldwide and supports 75 languages, establishing itself as the top trendsetter among Generation Z and Millennials.
