Police Arrest One Suspect in His 40s in 'YouTuber Assault' Case...Request for Arrest Warrant Submitted
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The police have arrested one of two suspects involved in the stabbing of a famous YouTuber with a weapon in an apartment in Seoul.
According to the police on the 12th, the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul apprehended a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, at Suwon Station at around 5:10 PM the previous day on charges of attempted robbery and murder. Mr. A is accused of handcuffing and wielding a weapon against YouTuber Mr. B, who broadcasts about cryptocurrency, in an elevator of an apartment in Seongdong-gu on the 9th along with another accomplice. Fortunately, Mr. B is reported to be out of danger and has requested personal protection from the investigative authorities.
The police have applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A and are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
