Korea Railroad, KTX Tickets for Lunar New Year Holiday Available for Reservation on January 7-8
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Railroad announced on the 5th that train tickets for KTX and other trains operating during the Lunar New Year holiday from January 23 to 27 will be available for reservation over two days, the 7th and 8th.
Reservations will be conducted simultaneously online and at designated stations and agencies. The reservation times are from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. online, and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at designated stations and agencies.
The routes available for reservation by date are ▲ January 7: Gyeongbu, Gyeongjeon, Donghae, Daegu, Chungbuk, Gyeongbuk lines ▲ January 8: Honam, Jeolla, Gangneung, Janghang, Jungang, Taebaek, Yeongdong, Gyeongchun lines.
The payment deadline for reserved tickets is from 3 p.m. on the 8th to midnight on the 12th. If payment is not made within this period, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
During the Lunar New Year holiday, a maximum of 12 tickets per person can be reserved, and duplicate purchases with KTX Lunar New Year special fare products are restricted. For example, if you have already purchased 4 special Lunar New Year tickets, you can only reserve up to 8 regular tickets for the holiday period.
