On the 3rd, Yang posted a poster on his Instagram featuring the lineup for the American music festival 'Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.' Notably, he marked the name 'BIGBANG' with a red square.
This post is Yang Hyun-suk's first SNS update in about 10 months since March last year. He had temporarily suspended his SNS activities amid various controversies, including allegations of prostitution mediation and habitual gambling.
Netizens who saw this expressed criticism, saying things like "Just stay quiet," "He seems completely indifferent to public opinion," and "It would be better to reflect quietly."
Earlier that day, according to YG Entertainment, BIGBANG is scheduled to perform twice at the 'Coachella Festival' on April 10 and 17. This will be the members' first official appearance since their military discharge.
Meanwhile, Yang Hyun-suk was booked in July last year on charges of prostitution mediation for allegedly providing sexual services to Malaysian tycoon Jorow and his party at a luxury restaurant in Seoul in 2014, but was cleared of charges in November.
He was also sent to prosecution at the end of October last year on charges of habitual gambling for allegedly gambling hundreds of millions of won at a hotel in Las Vegas, USA.
