Rookie singer Lee Hi has secured her third throne on Gaon singles chart, while boy band B1A4 grabbed their first top status on the album chart.
YG Entertainment’s newest muse firmly grabbed the top status with her hit debut tune “1, 2, 3, 4” for third week in a row between November 11 and 17, Gaon showed Thursday.
Now all eyes are on whether her follow-up single “Scarecrow,” the smoking-hot new ballad dropped this noon, would be her next big hit or not.
Sitting at No. 2 is male quintet NOEL’s sorrowful balld “Thing’s That I Couldn’t Say,” which saw a rise of four steps from the previous week’s position.
The tune of a man’s warm request for his loving one brings the listeners back to their old memories, being enchanted by the four members’ deep and beautiful harmony.
While hip-hop duo Geeks and Soyou of SISTAR’s collaboration piece “Officially Missing You, too” slid down to No.3, “Superstar K4” contestant Jung Joon-young landed at No. 4 with a rock ballad tune “Emergency Room.”
Powerful and skillful diva Ailee rounded out the top five with her reversal song “I’ll Show You,” the title track of her first mini-album “Invitation.”
Other songs in the top ten were hip-hop producer Primary’s “?,” Park Bo-young’s “The Werewolf Boy” soundtrack “My Princess,” boy band B1A4’s “Tried to Walk,” balladeer K. Will’s “Please Don’t…” and songstress Son Dam-bi’s “Tears Pouring Down.”
Over on the album chart, B1A4 has stole away young girls' heart with the third mini-album “In The Wind,” the eight-track record dropped on last Monday.
Six-member idol group Boyfriend sat at the second place with their first full-track album “Janus,” while male solo Park Jung-min nabbed the third position with his second single record “Beautiful.”
